Photograpy as a Major

I'm thinking about going to college for Photography as my major. Is it worth it, or maybe I'll be better off taking some classes and learning on my own?

@Maria-I see nothing wrong in going to college for a Major,but you might consider if photography is really for you.Hence I recommend looking at the course supplied on my blog.It will teach you amazing techniques and also you can then consider to move on to college-just my thoughts.http://photographycourses4u.com
